When the toy arrived it was nicely packaged, and when you first get it out its really soft to the touch and looks really nice. It sits perfectly in your hand due to the ergonomic shape of the toy, and when turned on the vibrations feel fairly strong and like they would be perfect for the job, and it is also very quiet, a bonus. This is where things ended as the toy then died and would not turn back on, fortunately LH were able to send out a replacement so we could carry on the testing. ( we have had no issues with the replacement toy) So with new toy in hand and looking forward to seeing what it could deliver we proceeded to test. I think my other halfs reactions were summed up in one word - Meh. Although the toy seems to fit perfectly in your hand this did not help in finding a good position on her clit to make use of the seemingly good vibrations. No matter how she re-positioned it she could not get it to the 'right' spot, she was feeling the vibration in her hand more than her clit to the point it was making her hand numb. We even logged on and chewcked other reviews to see if it was just us, and it seems that this is mirrored in other reviews. To sum up it is a really nice looking toy, but it really fails to deliver where it matters, which is transferring those good vibrations into the clit rather than through your hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Young h. from Smooth, soft and adaptable clitoral vibrator [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this shortly after the e-mail to say it had been dispatched, in the usual secure and discrete Lovehoney packaging. On opening we were pleasantly surprised to see the colourful wave vibrator inside along with a selection of fun stickers and a poster- nice touch! We wanted to try this shape of vibe as the usual one we use is a soft tipped bullet vibe which can sometimes feel a little hard during use and we wanted something to use as a couple rather than solo sex. The Wave has 6 vibration levels and 4 different modes, we generally stick with constant vibrations and level 1 or 2, and this was fine during use. The main reason we chose this was for use during intercourse as it would be easier to place and leave in situ during sex, rather than a plain bullet vibe. This turned out quite successful, during sex in the missionary position we found this easy to slip into place and without too much trouble holding it in position it helped achieve the desired effect! The normal bullet is difficult to use like this unless the position is cowgirl, reverse cowgirl or similar. Easy to wash afterwards and charging is simple, the only downside is the pitch of the vibrations, a little high but as long as the level wasn't taken too high this turned out to do the job. A useful toy for the toybox and one that we will definitely bring out whenever the sex position requires it.

The first alluring thing about this toy is the shape, its smooth and has ridges in all the right places, we opened this toy in the morning with plans to use later that days, the anticipation was great. The box has a picture of whats inside and some instructions, Toy comes with a USB charging cable and a nice like set of stickers, some have made it onto the backs on our mobiles, they'll mean nothing to unsuspecting people but a little nod to people that have seen them before will be fun. Play: The buzzing is a little on the high frequency for us, we like more of a rumble than a buzz. Its a great foreplay toy, with some lube its great for rubbing against yourself, even when its turned off. The shape of it sits nicely in your knickers (While the film is on or if you wanted to hide a little secret while out). Its reasonably quiet (think normal bullet volume) its easy to clean and charge, one button to rule them all. You cant go wrong. Would not recommend as an all out orgasm giving machine but very fun, play with this then get the wand out for results. Get One :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by samwisecoochie from Weird Vibrations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first ROMP toy I'd ever received, so I was surprised by the packaging and how it was obviously the 'trendy' and affordable brand. I liked how the box came with stickers (fun!) and a fun little poster/instruction manual. Beyond that though, I was pretty disappointed with the product. The toy is beautifully designed and is soft and sleek. Easy to use and recharge. However, despite the different vibration level settings I could not get it to a point where I could feel anything. It might be the way the toy is designed - which is unique - or the way I operated but I felt most of the vibrations in my hand more than anything else. The whole thing would vibrate without being quite pinpointed and while that might have been a good thing in reality it just didn't work very well. Its a shame it hasn't personally worked for me - the vibrations are strong and the design is, again, really lovely - but it just doesn't seem to do a whole lot.

When this arrived the Romp looked full of promise packaged in a well detailed box displaying all the available functions of the toy. Upon opening you are presented with a beautifully sleek and well designed toy which is pleasing on the eye and so silky on the touch. The Romp is designed to be uses as a solo or couples toy and it's flexible in that it can bend into position. When testing is where our initial expectations were really let down. Although it has 6 vibration settings even the strongest is not strong enough for us. I suppose this is offset by the toy being able to run much quieter than usual clitoral toys. I would not quite say its whisper quiet which is stated on the box. It does have the advantage of being waterproof for full shower or bath time fun. Also uses USB charging via the self sealing silicone port, ways a plus in our opinion. Also to add the Romp has 4 pattern modes too. Overall it just didn't live up to the presentation of the item for us as we felt it was not powerful enough.

Really easy to use and the buttons are in a very convenient place for easy switches. Felt really good quality smooth silicone, and is not too load even on the highest setting. Overall I would say this is pretty good value for money if you are looking for a vibrator to get your collection started.

Also looks like a tongue. the Silicone body feels fab, firm in the goldilocks zone, not too soft and not too hard. It comes in a cute little box which includes a sheet of cute but naughty stickers, which is a nice touch. Nice colour too very aquatic. The wave seems to be quick to charge, there isn't a charge indicator to let you know, and the battery last a good long time. It's easy to get the charger inserted and being standard USB there's no bulky plug to have to find room for. being solid it's dead easy to clean and pretty handy for wet play. The shape is great, fits very comfortably in the palm of you hand whatever way round you hold it. The fin side snuggles in nicely with the nose resting in just the right place. Deck side is good for gently massaging, either end up. Being an easy snuggler you can wear it, a nice close fitting pair of pants holds it in place very nicely (try running shorts). It is super silent, you would need to be up close and personal to hear it under clothes, big win there. Now for the not so gnarly bit. The wave is a bit over gunned, It's under juiced and reminds us of a mushburger. This is a real shame as we really do like the look and feel. We'll be keeping it around to use before catching a party wave or when spicing up a run or doing the hoovering. That's probably why it is so quiet. Love it but it could be so much better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Peitho from I can't Ride the Wave but can Focus the Pleasure [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ROMP toy, and in the packaging the emphasis really is on toy. The back of the instructions is essentially a cartoon colouring in poster of hands holding different ROMP vibrators. I'll be honest, I am refraining from colouring this in. However, it also has a sticker sheet and these are great... who doesn't love a cock cupcake, rabbit vibe cacti, a mercock and a plethora of other cocks and boobs and bringers of pleasure? :rofl: Made me giggle anyway and put me in a good mood ahead of play time. First impressions of the toy itself, it is very nice feeling smooth silicone. It has lots of bend and flex and the contours and ridges of the wave feel great in my hand. Charging is very easy, it has a very secure charging cable and a light matching the wave in colour that flashes while charging and remains lit once fully charged. This light doesn't come on at any other stage using the toy, it is just used to indicate charging. It charges quickly and lasts well beyond play time and beyond where I got bored waiting for it to die. Onto use, the Wave has simple controls. One button, hold to turn on or off, press to cycle through the six intensities of constant vibration and the four vibration patterns, a couple of which are much better than your normal patterns with a combination of waves and throbbing keeping things a bit more unexpected. I am at heart a constant vibe girl though so it's good to have a broard range of strengths available. It is, however, quite easy to accidentally press the button in use which can be irritating. The strongest vibrations are concentrated in the curved up tip of the wave, though they do run throughout. I had hoped that the Wave would work perfectly to sit on either positioned on the edge of a bath or the more comfortable arm of a couch. Unfortunately this just doesn't quite work. The bulbous end sits quite nicely on my anus providing a lovely rimming effect and the ridge sits nicely nestling into the entrance of my vagina but the clit end while sat upon bends the wrong way and doesn't focus the vibes into my clit. The only way this can be achieved is with firm, hands on, manipulation and the vibes still somehow completely fail to deliver their power to my clit even pressed upwards. Fear not though, instead of riding this wave, I now use it as a focused pin point bullet and the strength of the vibrations really does shine through used this way instead. They are quite buzzy vibrations but holding the wave in my hand and focusing the tip on my body they are also very strong. My nipples love them, a lot of my body loves them but my exposed clit really can't take very much of them as focussed this way they really are intense. Being fully waterproof, the Wave definitely enhances shower and bath time and cleaning it afterwards is a breeze. I think for teasing and foreplay this toy is excellent, it is nicer to hold than a bullet and the focussed end pin points the vibrations really well. To ride on though it doesn't work for me unfortunately which is what I wanted to achieve.
