Not a patch on my previous one as could only get a vibrating sensation when it was on full power and there was no suction. Threw it in the bin.

I received this as a free review item from lovehoney.
As usual discreet packaging and fast delivery which is a given.
Upon opening the toy looks and feels a high quality. It is simple and easy to use. Although fairly basic it works as described and is a good entry suction toy. It doesn't however have the same punch as some of the rechargeable toys, and I was unable to orgasm from this alone.
Personally I would spend a little more and go for a more powerful

Powerful pocket rocket but runs on batteries.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start with this one. Well it certainly hits the spot (pun intended) with its focused pulse easily directed to the right place whether via direct contact or held closely.
The design is great and allows for easy holding and the buttons are very conveniently located with enough variety between the power settings.
This isn't the quietest of toys but it is waterproof so you can always hide with the sound of running water.
The strong and direct stimulation is great for anyone struggling to achieve orgasm from other methods or toys.
I was surprised to see toys still using disposable batteries and the ones shipped with the toy didn't last long at all, I'm hoping the replacements last longer.
All in all a very good price for a very well designed and effective top drawer addition.

High quality feel - low price!
As ever - I always start with the packaging - very premium feel, no cheesy messages on the side, and I love the choice of colours and font on the box. (thanks LoveHoney for the discreet package on the doorstep too).
We opened the box with excitement - as this was our second ROMP product. The two we have are the Shine and now this Switch X. I'd like to spend this review as more of a compare between the two of them.
Whilst the Shine is more plastic in feel, the Switch X has definitely a more premium feel to it. The silicone texture is far nicer than the cheap plastic feel of the Shine. The buttons on the Switch X are also more pronounced, and easier to use as a consequence.
The other bonus of the Switch X is that it runs off of two AAA batteries, so worst case - you can steal the batteries from the TV remote control and use those!! Taking the battery hood is fairly easy, with a notch in the cover for fingernails to help with the removal process.
Just like the Switch, the silicone hood comes off easily for cleaning too. This is a really useful feature.
Orgasm wise - they're fairly similar. The speeds increase at the right rate for those who have a sensitive clitoris, and as a bonus - this Switch X is more targeted on the right areas, due to its slightly smaller hole in the silicone head.
We enjoyed using the Switch X immensely - both as foreplay and as an additional stimulus during love making. Its quiet, powerful and a lot of fun. Very recommended.
