unreliable and faulty
Bought this toothbrush after using it for less than a year the metal shaft under the brush head came out so I requested replacement under the warranty a year later the same thing happened the metal shaft under the brush head just came out completely, I'v never dropped the toothbrush or used force on it just not a god product.

Excellent service, excellent product
I have bought Philips where possible for a number of years. The service is excellent and the products also. My wife and I have had Philips tooth brushes for something around ten years and this latest model is the cumulation of the features added over time. It is quiet, very efficient and sturdily built. The previous models are now in our holiday packing!

Much better than my previous branded toothbrush. Mouth feels much fresher after use. Would be a 5 if better availability of replacement heads

Not as good as the previous model.
Previous models had a better arrangement to stand the toothbrush after use. The round base charger and later the glass stand was ideal to rest the toothbrush when not in use.
The present one is very unstable and flimsy. In my opinion not an improvement sadly.

Excellent Toothbrush
Cleans my teeth brilliantly, and they look and feel clean. Battery has lasted nearly 10 weeks before it needed a recharge.

Noisy and doesn't really remove plaque
I've used Sonicare brushes for a number of years, with varying success.
This model seems very noisy and even after buying the very expensive plaque removal heads, it does not seem to actually effectively remove the plaque from between the teeth.
I'll try it for a little longer, but if performance does not improve, I'll be changing to a different type of brush.
