Fleas on dogs are killed within twenty four hours following treatment. 
One treatment prevents further flea infestation for 4 weeks. 
The drug can be incorporated into a treatment of allergic dermatitis by flea bites. 
Treatment infgestations of biting lice.

The product has an acaricide and repellent efficacy against ticks, respectively persisting for 4 weeks and 3 weeks. 
Ticks already on the dog at the time of treatment may not be killed during the 2 days following administration of treatment and can stay attached and visible. 
Also, it is recommended to remove ticks present during application of the treatment to prevent their attachment and taking blood meal. 
one treatment provides repellent activity against ticks against sand flies for 2 to 3 weeks, against mosquitoes for 2 to 4 and against stable flies for 4 weeks.
