MEDELA Milk collection dishes 2 cups
Medela's milk collection cups allow you to collect the milk that comes out of your breasts while guaranteeing unique comfort. Thanks to their anatomical shape and soft, supple silicone membrane, the cups are comfortable to wear and invisible under clothing.
- During milk feeding, when milk flows from the breast at rest
- In the event of heavy milk flow

How to use it
Apply the silicone membrane to the cup so that it fits snugly around the edge. Then place the cup in the bra. The opening of the silicone cup should be exactly Regard the nipple. We recommend wearing a larger Milk feeding bra to prevent the cup from compressing the breast. Make sure that the spout is always pointing upwards. When you remove the cups, lean forward slightly. The milk collected in this way can be transferred, using the spout, into another container. Please note only milk collected during a feed can be given to an infant. If you don't give it to Baby straight away, put it in the fridge straight away and use it within 24 hours. To avoid maceration, we recommend emptying the cups every 2-3 hours and air-drying the breasts.

GreatAs other reviews mention these are great if you have leaky boobs or when you are feeding or expressing from one side. I too made the silly mistake to bend over an let the collected milk spill everywhere (ooops) although it did make me more careful thereafter. Maybe a redesign could be done with a stopper to be able to empty them without the possibility of spilling.

A must-have!Having used these with my first child, I know I needed a new set of shells to keep close by as my milk came in to help capture every precious drop. Easy to slide into a maternity bra and easy to clean/sterilise. Highly recommend to all new mums to be.

Arrived larger than I expectedI was expecting these to come quite small in size but they’re quite large, I think they could hold a couple ounces per shell without leaking. Very useful but not necessary to use unless you express a large amount of milk into them

Actually comfortableI was unsure about this product and decided to order it along with the pads in case I didn’t get on with it. I was surprised to find that actually they are comfortable and hold quite a bit. Really impressed and should save me some money on the pads.

Collection ShellsA must have item in my opinion. I didn't realise how much milk I leaked when feeding off the other side. These shells allow me to collect around an oz which can be stored rather than wasted in a brrast pad. They are very comfortable to wear too.

Saves clothes, saves milkI'm exclusively breastfeeding, but I still use these to collect milk that otherwise would fill my breastpads and soak into my clothes! I've also frozen some of the milk to have an emergency supply. They work well and are easy to clean and sterilise. One issue I've had is forgetting I'm wearing them, and then leaning forwards and spilling milk everywhere!! But that is very much user error rather than product problem, and goes to show how comfortable they are!
