Vitamin B6 promotes the production of amino acids, the basic building blocks of Proteins. Vitamin E is one of the most powerful free radical scavengers known. It protects the fatty acids in cell membranes, the oxidation of which is thought to be one of the causes of ageing. Selenium is one of the essential elements in the protection of the different structures of the cell against oxidation and therefore against ageing.
