Unknown before the 1990's, the spirulina seaweed has been exploited by the FLAMANT VERT company for more than 15 years.

The blue algae from the Andes grows in Ecuador at an altitude of 2500 meters.

To protect them against pollution, greenhouses have been erected and a specific agriculturing technique is applied to dry them slowly and gently.

Therefore, thanks to these ideal farming conditions, spirulina gives the best of its natural exceptional assets.
