Atlas Cedar is native to North Africa. In the distant past, it also lived in Europe in its natural state. It tolerates the cold very well and is more upright and slender than the Cedar of Lebanon. Its needles are bluish, its branches are ascending and shorter than those of other cedars; its bark is light grey and cracks as it ages; its cones are 6 cm long, with a small hollow in the centre.
In the absence of HECT Italian Helichrysum to treat bruises and bumps, Atlas Cedar can replace it with real but less spectacular efficiency: 3 drops of HECT Atlas Cedar + 3 drops of Calophylla oil. Several applications within an hour of trauma, then 4 applications a day until significant improvement.
