How to treat diarrhoea
If you suffer from diarrhoea, a condition that can be caused by bad bacteria, viruses, medicines, food or various digestive disorders, there are a few dos and don'ts to help you get relief quickly. Diarrhoea is defined as having at least three loose, watery stools a day. Not only is this unpleasant, it can also be dangerous if the diarrhoea is not treated quickly. So if you have it, chances are you'll want to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
When you or your baby lose more water than you take in, as you do with diarrhoea, you also lose essential electrolytes : important minerals found in blood, urine, tissue and other body fluids. Although dehydration is the biggest concern with diarrhoea, it's not the only one. If the diarrhoea is severe and persists beyond a few days, complications, including kidney and urinary tract problems, can occur. It could also be a symptom of a more serious illness, such as Crohn's disease or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or a sign of a severe infection. If the person affected is an infant or a Baby, taking Adiaril helps to rehydrate them and compensate for their loss of electrolytes.
